Inside of an hour, you can visit the North Willamette region (which includes acclaimed Yamhill County), home to two-thirds of the state's wineries. Visitors will be glad to know there is nothing pretentious about Oregon winemakers. Our wine country is a leisurely, casual place to tour and rub elbows with winemakers at intimate family-owned operations.

Hotel Vintage Plaza Wine Wednesdays
Each Wednesday, a representative from a featured winery conducts a traditional wine tasting, along with wine education on topics ranging from basic Wine Tasting 101, to the process of growing and making wine. Often, special guests such as wine book authors, sommeliers and winemakers join the group. Wine-friendly appetizers from Pazzo, chocolates and other local food artisans' products complement the wines.
Wine Wednesday events are held each Wednesday at 6pm in the hotel "Living Room," last about an hour, and are open to the general public as well as hotel guests.
